Non Stop action all summer!
Chinook/Coho/Halibut
| This is a season to remember with great fishing the entire season from the very early to now mid season! Coho arrived inshore and this morning all the groups who had hoped to encounter them got into them. Nice Lings, medium Halibut and we rang in the Tyee bell yesterday with a chrome fat 30 pound Chinook Salmon on the scale. The ocean is full of all the good productive bait fish we would expect to see including an explosive squid year! Stay tuned for our live squid video with Fishing with Rod |

Big Halibut around this season, with some really big ones getting released! 57 pounds seems top out the maxium size and what a beauty. This years regulations allow for 1 large one or 2 small ones per trip. Offshore conditions have been perfect for setting up the halibut gear |
